Dig Into Secrets Loot
Everything that pops out of the shaft — fuel, keys, and the occasional alien mistake.
Loot is the physical output of mining in Dig Into Secrets. You swing, something pops, you pick it up, you sell it, you hatch. This page is the object list mindset. Rankings are on the loot tier list. The verb is how to mine.
Categories of loot
- Ores and rocks — default Cash. Sell.
- Gems and rares — bigger Cash or index entries. Inspect, then usually sell.
- Usables — eggs, keys, boosters, tools. Do not vendor-blind.
- Secret / alien drops — inspect twice. May relate to the Alien Area.
- Junk — D-tier. Vendor on the way to the egg shop.
If the game later adds a journal, keep one of each index item. Until then, Cash is the journal.
Backpack as a stat
A full bag stops the loop. Treat capacity like Power: when it is full, you are weak. Sell on a timer, not when you are annoyed. Private servers make pickup safer; publics steal sparkles. See private servers.
Sell destinations
Find the sell NPC, sell pad, or HUD sell button. Use whichever is faster. Walking across the map with a legendary in the bag on a public server is a dare. Sell, then screenshot the log if you need a trophy.
Loot versus pets
Pets are roster. Loot is ammo. Convert ammo into roster through eggs. The pets page is where value lives long-term. A pretty ore that you never sell is a pretty brick.
Loot versus rebirth
Unsold loot typically dies in a rebirth. That makes pre-reset selling mandatory. If a usable would persist, use it first. The rebirth planner exists for this exact forgetfulness.
Reading colors in the shaft
The hero thumbnail shows brown dirt, grey stone, and colored ore windows in the walls. Color usually means “slower and richer”. Confirm with Cash per minute, not with vibes. If a color does not break, it is not loot yet — it is a training problem.
Alien-looking drops
Green, teal, UFO, or “secret” in the name: inspect. If it opens a portal, stop selling and read the Alien Area guide. If it is just a recolor with a sell value, it is A-tier fuel.
What we will not list
A 200-row ore table copied from DIG or Dig It. Wrong place ID. When +1 Lucky Mine ships names, they will land here with sell notes. Until then, inspect-and-vendor is the whole database skill.
Codes do not drop ore. They drop account gifts. Keep them on the codes hub.
For how this fits the hour, use the progression tier list. For the parent index, the players hub.
A sell route you can repeat
Pick one sell NPC or HUD button and always use that route. Changing routes every trip is how you drop a rare in the plaza. On a private mining server you can leave sparkles for ten seconds; on a public 20-player server you cannot. If you are about to rebirth, the route is sell, inspect S-tier, open the planner, then press. If you are about to hatch, the route is sell, egg shop, then how to hatch. Layer color is not a collection title. A teal band that will not break is a training message. A teal band that breaks and drops a named usable is an Alien Area lead. Same color, two objects. Inspect every time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dig Into Secrets miners.
What do I do with loot in Dig Into Secrets?
Pick it up, inspect rares, sell the rest, buy eggs. See how to mine.
Should I keep ores for later?
Only uniques or usables. Rank on the loot tier list.
Does loot survive rebirth?
Usually no. Sell first using the rebirth planner.
Can loot open the Alien Area?
Possibly if it is a key. Inspect alien-looking drops and read the Alien Area guide.
Why is my backpack always full?
You are mining without selling. Stop and vendor, or use a private server so pickups are clean.
