Getting Started in Dig Into Secrets

Dig Into Secrets is a free Roblox incremental mining simulator from +1 Lucky Mine. You land in a bright grass world with a hole in it, a pickaxe, and a Power stat that decides whether the next block even chips. This beginner guide is the first-hour loop. It assumes you have never opened the experience. If you already reincarnated once, skip to how to rebirth and the pets tier list.

The official description is short and honest: train to get stronger, mine deeper and discover loot, sell loot for Cash, hatch pets, rebirth, and try to find the Alien Area. That is the whole game. Everything on this wiki is a magnification of those six lines.

Minute 0–5: spawn and codes

1. Join from the official Roblox page. Confirm the creator is +1 Lucky Mine so you are not in a copy.
2. Finish the tutorial prompts. Do not skip so fast that the codes menu never unlocks.
3. Redeem WELCOME and POWERBUFF using how to redeem. Live strings sit on the codes hub.
4. Like the game. Favorite it. Private servers and some menus behave better after those clicks.

If the server is a 20-player pile-on, hop to a private mining server immediately. The developers advertised them as free. You want to see your own loot, not other people’s craters.

DIG INTO SECRETS IN ROBLOX gameplay

Minute 5–20: train first

New miners swing at dirt with starter Power and wonder why the pickaxe is a toy. Training is the real onboarding. Find the training pad, dummy, or clicker the tutorial pointed at and raise Power until swings start deleting blocks instead of tickling them. Details live in how to train and the training rankings.

A useful rule of thumb for +1 miners: if a layer takes more than a few seconds per block, you are under-trained for that depth. Walk back up and train. Depth is a reward for Power, not a substitute for it.

Minute 20–40: mine a shallow layer and sell

Open a shaft near spawn. The official thumbnail shows a 1000 m hole with colored ore bands — treat that as the fantasy of later depths, not your first pit. Clear a comfortable layer, pick up loot, and sell it at the sell NPC or sell button. Cash is the only reason loot exists until you start collecting for index or flex. Do not hoard a full backpack of common stones because they “look rare”. Sell, then mine again. Inventory space is a hidden Power stat.

Controls are standard Roblox: WASD or thumbstick to move, camera drag to look, tap/click to swing or to use the on-screen mine button, jump with space. The full sheet is controls. On mobile, keep the HUD scale readable so you can see Power, Cash, and the codes icon. There is no keyboard-only secret; the game is built for tap and click.

Minute 40–55: hatch something

With Cash in hand, buy an egg and hatch. Pets are the multiplier that makes the second hour feel different from the first. Read how to hatch pets before you open ten eggs of the cheapest color. Equip the strongest multiplier you own. Unequip pets that exist only to look cool unless you are already Power-capped for the night.

The pets tier list is S–D for progression, not for trading flex. A “legendary planet” from the promo art is a north star, not a promise that your first egg contains one.

Minute 55–60: decide on rebirth

You will see a rebirth button long before you should press it. Rebirth resets the short loop for a permanent bonus. If your next training upgrade costs more than several sell trips, you are in the window. If you still have unopened eggs or a POWERBUFF timer, wait. Use the rebirth guide and the rebirth planner.

First-session mistakes

• Skipping codes because “I will do it later”. Later you forget. Do it now.
• Digging straight down on 50 Power. You are digging a grave for your patience.
• Buying trails and auras with the WELCOME Cash.
• Rebirthing with a full unsold backpack.
• Following a DIG shovel guide. Wrong game.
• Running a random auto mine script before you know what a legal loop looks like.

What “good” looks like at the end of hour one

• Both launch codes redeemed
• Power high enough to clear the first ore colors without stalling
• Cash cycling through sell → egg instead of sitting in the HUD
• At least one pet equipped
• Zero or one rebirth, not five panic rebirths
• A plan to look for the Alien Area on a later session, not tonight
