Eggs are the shop object that turns mining Cash into the pets roster. Dig Into Secrets has not published a named egg index or hatch-rate table. The promo art shows a planetary LEGENDARY bursting from a crater. That is the fantasy egg. Your first purchases will not look like that. Plan for cheap eggs that change swing time, then one expensive try, then back to the shaft.
Before you open the egg shop

- Confirm Power still one-shots the layer you farm — training.
- Redeem leftover codes so WELCOME Cash is in the pool.
- Know your pet slots so a new hatch does not silently replace S-tier.
If you cannot restock the egg after one or two sell trips, the egg is too expensive for this life. Mine more or rebirth so income rises.
How eggs usually work in +1 miners
You buy from a world egg or a shop, wait through a short animation, and receive a pet with a rarity and a bonus (Power, speed, Cash, luck). Better eggs cost more and advertise better odds. Read the percentages in the egg UI. We will not invent a 0.01% table.
Triple-hatch gamepasses, if they appear, are convenience. They are not required for Getting Started.
First three eggs on a new account
- Egg 1: cheapest, as soon as WELCOME plus one sell can pay. Equip even if common.
- Egg 2: after you one-shot the first ore color. Keep the stronger inspect number.
- Egg 3: only if Cash per minute still climbs. Otherwise train or reset.
That order is also on the pets page. Do not skip it because a thumbnail said LEGENDARY.
Eggs versus rebirth
If pets persist through rebirth, hatch leftover Cash before the button so the next life starts with the zoo. If pets reset, hatch after. The rebirth planner has the checkbox. Guessing while the button glows is how you donate eggs.
Auto hatch
Auto hatch scripts skip animations and often auto-equip the last common. After any bulk open, restore S-tier by hand. Dedicated public loaders for this place ID were still scarce as of September 2026. Do not inject a Pet Simulator egg hub.
Alien and legendary eggs
If a shop egg is named after aliens or appears only after a wall opens, treat it as part of the Alien Area hunt, not as a day-one buy. Inspect the pet. If the multiplier is weak, it is a trophy. If it is strong, it becomes the always-on slot.
